PACKAGING, COMPLETENESS ...

Do you deliver your chandeliers unassembled?

Yes, we do. To reduce shipping costs and breakage risk, each chandelier is delivered unassembled, carefully packaged in a separate carton. The assemblage and installation is very easy. However, it must be done by a licensed electrician.

Does the package contain all chandelier parts?

Yes, with one exception: we do not deliver incandescent lamps. The reason is that the customer can best decide on the spot about the preferred kind and wattage of the bulbs used. No replacement parts are automatically supplied with the chandelier.

FRAMES, PRISMS, BEADS ...

What material do you use for frames?

The frames of the stock models are always made from solid brass, normally with the polished brass finish. All the stock models can also be supplied with nickel plated finish at a surcharge of approximately 5%. Custom made chandeliers can be supplied either with brass frames, or with chrome plated steel frames.

Do you use full cut and full polished prisms and beads?

Yes, all the prisms and beads are full cut and full polished so that the edges are very sharp and the facets perfectly defined.

COLORS ...

I like your chandeliers, but would like to have them in red (green, blue...) color...

The basic color of all chandeliers is clear crystal, but a wide selection of colors is possible. However, please note that the glass parts are made from clear crystal and then surface colored. Colored crystal is never used as the starting raw material.

Are colored chandeliers more expensive?

Yes, there is a 25% surcharge to the basic price.

WIRING, LIGHT BULB TYPE AND WATTAGE ...

I am from the USA (Italy, Pakistan...). Can I use your chandeliers without any adaptations?

The chandeliers are automatically wired and equipped with light bulb sockets to follow the standards of the country of installation.

What base type and what wattage of light bulbs is acceptable?

The chandeliers are wired for bulbs with small Edison screw base (E14 or E12) not exceeding 60 watt. We strongly recommend 40 watt light bulbs.

HANGING CHAINS ...

Can I order a longer hanging chain?

Yes. Each chandelier is normally supplied with a brass hanging chain consisting of three links. However, a chain of any length can be ordered. Each extra link adds 45 mm (1.8 in.) of length, the price is US$0.50 per link.

Do you offer a selection of hanging chains?

No, we do not.

CUSTOM MADE CHANDELIERS ...

Can you adapt your stock models or produce newly designed chandeliers for us?

Yes, we can adapt our chandeliers following your wishes, or manufacture a model designed by you, at prices very close to the standardized stock products. Please inquire. Minimum limits apply (see below).

Can you supply us with semi-finished chandeliers (without beads and/or prisms)?

Yes, we can. Again, minimum limits apply (see below).

Would you accept an order for a single very large chandelier for our church (theatre, city hall...)?

Yes. In addition to the class of chandeliers shown in our online catalog, we can also custom produce chandeliers of essentially any reasonable size to be installed in large spaces, public buildings, churches, music halls, etc. These large chandeliers are normally supplied with chrome plated frames, decorated with customized, fully hand cut crystal prisms and beads (24+% PbO), and other glass parts created and hand cut from special very hard high barium (BaO) glass known for very high refraction.

We also manufacture the historizing "Theresian" type of chandeliers, following the historical models produced in Bohemia some two centuries ago. The Theresians always have brass frame.

HOW TO ORDER ...

What is the best way of placing a purchasing order with you?

Kindly follow the advice found here. However, to order a chandelier that would fit to your needs may be a complicated task. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any specific questions. We are very interested in helping you find what you really need. After all, if you are satisfied, you will certainly recommend us to other customers.

Please be sure to include the following information in your purchasing order:

1. Model No. (stock code)
2. Color (if applicable)
3. Customized length of hanging chain (if applicable; normally supplied with 3 links, 45 mm = 1.8 in. each)
4. Country of installation, or wiring requirements (voltage, socket type...)
5. Quantity
6. Your email address and/or fax No.
7. Your shipping address (physical address in air freight or sea freight shipments!)
8. Your nearest international airport or seaport (air freight or sea freight shipments only)
9. Name and telephone of the person who should be alerted when the shipment arrives (air freight or sea freight shipments only)

MINIMUM LIMITS ...

I need a single chandelier for my home. Will you accept my order?

Yes, we do sell individual chandeliers if we have them in stock. You are welcome to contact us whenever you intend to place a small order with us. Expect that we are mostly able to deliver individual chandeliers in clear crystal (and with polished brass frames) within a few days, but the colored chandeliers are hardly ever in stock.

Otherwise we do not accept orders for less than 10 units of any chandelier model/color/frame finish combination. This has a simple reason: the very high fixed costs connected with the starting phase of the production of any model make the manufacture of individual pieces or very small series not economically feasible.

Small custom made models (less than 100 cm = 40 in. in diameter) can also be supplied only if at least 10 pieces of the same design are ordered and prepaid. However, in larger custom made chandeliers we are mostly able to produce even a single piece - please inquire.
